Perfect timing Bas. I just finished ordering a Replacement Concorde Jet engine that was lying around since they took the SST out of service. Now with this duct work all I have to do is cut a hole in my garage door, turn on the engine and suck up any debris in a nanosecond.

Would they need an individual ground wire to avoid the DANGERS of dust explosion?

You know, that's not as crazy as it sounds. What if you had one of those half-round metal airplane hangar-type buildings. Big fan on one end, sliding door on the other. Just make sure everything is clamped, screwed or locked down. And don't do this when it's hot or cold.

OK, maybe a crazy idea after all

Double-barrelled, no less!

You could make a blast gate from a garage door and opener.
