In areas with a high concentration of coyotes, fox often become increasingly fond of more urban areas. Coyotes dominate the woods, and will kill a fox on sight.
Tidbit: Grays can, to varying degrees, climb trees. Reds do not. |

He had several nice grays, I petted one of them back when I lived over there. They can be quite vicious and turn on you even after many years of being a pet. That is one reason why you must be licensed to own them. He went through some kind of training in order to get his license. I'm not sure what it was or where one would look for such. |

I been told that the fox has tried to reduce the chicken population, so I guess those people were not too happy with their fox.

We both looked at the same time and there was a little red fox walking straight toward us. It got within 10 feet before it saw us and stopped, it looked at us, we looked at it, we looked at each other then it decided to turn around and run. |

I've never attended but it's said to be great running for the beagles and for lovers of beagle music as well. Huge running pen, 1000 acres IIRC(always an iffy proposition). |
