Hmmm, either the questions didn't ask for the right things, or I need some serious Southern education. I scored 56% Dixie, barely enough to even use the phrase "hey y'all, watch this!". Of course, I would have done better with more DIY type words, like how do you pronounce awl/ oil.
I think the #1 differentiator should be: Do you like grits?
And remember, Southern is a state of mind, it has nothing to do with place of birth or accent.

65% Dixie - I've lived in NC for about 23 years, Okla for 4 and all the rest above the Mason-Dixon line. Travis, we passed a brew-through around Lake Norman last weekend. Didn't go in, but I've never seen one that didn't sell at least beer. Bas - please don't add grits to the requirements - lol!

70% Dixie. Of course, I'm actually 100% Dixie. Never lived outside NC. Only been north of the Mason Dixon about five times.
Numbers 9 & 13 were really tough. In both cases I have used all four answers depending on circumstances. I finally went with "Sub" and "Service road" since I guess these are the ones I've used most often.

84% Dixie, I reckon the 20 years I've spent livin' in the Southland have diluted the 18 years I spent just outside of Chicago. What I found the most interesting is that the ones I answered that weren't characteristic to the southeast were characteristic to the Midwest and Chicago.
