Alright guys, I'm tapping the wealth of knowledge here on NCWWer!!

We have our senior design expo next week and we have to have a poster. Below is my first rough attempt at our design. What do you all think? Any changes?

and before I forget, is anyone looking for a bright college graduate with a BSMET degree? I will have completed all course work in 14 weeks!!

The "models" will be updated with correct pictures...right now these are just place holders.

TIA!!

Philip:

Are the rules as to what must be on the poster? If not, then I would simplify the poster. It is very busy. Under each picture list the pointe briefly with bullets. IMHO. Good luck.

HDCP header needs to move down and to the left a bit. It should be part of the block with the pictures visually. But keep it slightly above center between the pictures and Parsons.

That is the most distracting part, change that and look at it again.

A few rules, but it's pretty open.

Bullets...good idea! I'll probably do that with the intro too...

Should the boarders stay or go?
I want some color, something eye grabbing...hhmmm

Looks good and I like the borders.

You might be able to simplify it a bit to it meets the general poster rule (as I remember it == you can read it quickly, easily, and effortlessly)

I'm with Mike about that header, but would also move the team member stuff down on the right. You have two huge areas of white space that could be spread around more, IMO.

The visual elements look good; I have a lot of trouble with that part and it looks like you nailed it.

I'm leaving some white space there, not sure if we will want to add any more pictures of our models or something small there. But if we don't add anything I will move them down. THANKS!!

You need that white space.

The two lines at the very bottom bother me now.

Drop the words "Contact info" then move it all to the right a bit and Flush left?

Everything else looks good.

The eye is naturally drawn to the center. The space/ information ration looks good there. But, the introduction on the top left is out of place - if it is meant to be read first, it has to go in the center. Maybe have two lines/ bullets above the two models.

No, the eye is lead from PARSONS down to the introduction then to the center.

It works.

Yeah, aligned with the bottom of that color bar.

And that should do it.
