I have used a method for the prevention of poinson Ivy and to date it has been very succseful.
After a potential exposure, take a 3-5% chlorox solution in water and sponge off the areas of the body that might be exposed. Then take a hot shower with plenty of soap. The Chlorox neutralizes the acid resins in the poison ivy, and the soap and water risnse every thing away. I have been rash free for years doing this method after multiple exposures. |
