Exclamation

232 years ago 56 brave men affixed their names to a document we now know as the Declaration of Independence. This document started a long piece of history which resulted in the great country we know today. Whatever your political leanings and if for no other reason than honoring those brave men, please exercise your democratic right and vote for our nation's government leaders tomorrow.

I was happy to see so many responses from folks who said they were voting but in case anyone still feels "why bother, my vote doesn't really count " Before you take that attitude for the next election look at the 5th congressional district election in VA. At last count the vote totals between the two candidates are seperated by less than 1% Your vote not count ? I think it just might !!!!

Yes, I agree. I voted early this year because my mom wanted to vote and she is not able to stand in the predicted lines. Curbside voting really helps the elderly and disabled.

Vote early and vote often

I normally just vote early with a mail-in ballot. It's so much easier.

As long as it stays neutral it will not get moderated.

My wife and I also did mail in absentee. Just an FYI for the future (too late for this year) in case some folks don't know - it is perfectly fine to use an absentee mail in ballot just to avoid waiting in line. If you call the Wake County Board of Elections and follow the prompts to get information about it, their recording even lists that as one of the reasons. This wasn't always true and it still is a common misconception that you must have a planned trip to qualify for one.

No worries, Bigdog. I was going to start a "Please vote" thread but Glenn beat me to it

Voting is a right and a responsibility
But who you voted for or why would be quickly removed

Another early voter,
Roger

No worries here Bigdog. As sapwood said voting is a privilege and a right.
