I have heard it said that planning is the most important part of a project Engineering Question of the Day

Q.) How much does a house weigh???

A.) Just a tad more than a rural two-lane bridge can hold, apparently.

SO WOULD THIS BE COVERED BY HOUSE INSURANCE, CAR INSURANCE , OR, DOES IT COME UNDER ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE ???

That two car garage has potential! If it only had a floor.

When I first saw this I mentally composed a similar ad. Less than a year ago I was shopping for my house and it never ceased to amaze me the "creative spin" put in real estate ads.

My favorite is "charming bungalow." Usually they're anything but charming.

Oldie but goodie:
  • Sun splashed = one room north facing
  • Sparkling pool = pool filter works
  • Fish pond = pool filter doesn’t work
  • Landscaped garden = builder has buried all the rubble
  • Secure = overlooks the police station
  • Greatly reduced = still very overpriced
  • Stone throw away from school = stones thrown from school
  • Cape Dutch = has gables
  • Victorian = has a tin roof
  • Sought after area = slum with potential
  • Split level = foundations are subsiding
  • New release = this is the third agent marketing
  • Patio = spot at backdoor with some sun
  • Television room = room with power point
  • Comfortable = small
  • Cosy = cramped
  • Character = built before 1960
  • Cordon bleu kitchen = has built in cupboards
  • Farm style kitchen = has no built in cupboards
  • Two minutes from the beach = if you have a Ferrari
  • Within walking distance from the beach = if you leave at 5am
  • Sea Views = bring stepladder

Since it wasn't a covered bridge there is no insurance coverage. Why would someone put a house on a super heavy duty mobile tool base?

That's what I was thinking fivestring: you could go fishing out of the front door or the garage.
