No pics. I would never do that to you guys!

I spent a day and a half in bed this week with a real doozy of a cold, but recovered enough to swim in the local Senior Games meet this morning. While my times were not great, they weren't as bad as they could have been had I not started to recover yesterday. It was a pride thing- I really didn't have anything to worry about, being a youngster of 59 and the only competitor in the 55-59 age group, but I didn't want to let any of the "REAL" geezers beat me in any of my events. Now I can take some time off, do some woodworking and sailing if it gets warmer, before I start training for the State Championships in the fall.

Is it that time of the year again ? The next thing that I'll see is a picture of a guy in a sailboat that's sinking.

Only kidding Alan, Congratulations on the medals !

I am still working on the autogates- they are all installed and I am doing the final wiring. They work great, maybe too good. Though I am only running them on 10 -15 psi, they move VERY fast, too fast for long life- I need to add flow restricters, because lowering the pressure just results in some gates not closing fully. I have a bunch of flow restricters that came with the valves; I just need to figure out how to make them work with the hose I am using.

Once the gates are done, it will just be a matter of attaching the DC down pipe to the ceiling port over the tablesaw and mounting a plate with skirt on it. Stay tuned . . . . .
