Malibu is about to open a great new chapter in his life!

My hat is off to you and your family for taking such extrodinary measures.

I must ask, how long before he gets a DaveO custom dog house and turned food/water bowls?

While back, This Old House magazine did a "High end Doggie Homes". People were building exact replicas of their homes for their pets.

My dog, Tony, feels that my whole house is a dog house, who am i to argue

Jim

sweet sounds like things are looking up for that pooch! probably the best thing that'll ever happen to him.

hope yall enjoy him.

btw the loml pointed out to me yesterday that a lot oher friends have trained their dogs to poop only in mulched areas, seems like a great idea we never thought of.

we settled and were happy when he quit going in the house and now have to clean the yard up, but if he went in the mulch well we coudl just avoid that area of the yard. just a thought.

Beautiful dog there, Dave!

Sounds like a shop companion for life. Sure beats his previous home.

He sure looks a lot more comfortable now, in his new digs!

I see a lot of enjoyment in the future for his new found family.

Congratulations,

Wayne

Wonderful addition to the family and shop, Dave!
Of the dogs I've associated with, Labs are truly the most loveable

Enjoy,
Roger

Very humane of you DanO. I'll never understand how anyone can mistreat kids and animals.

Looks like you have a good companion to be. The dog in my avatar is a shop dog for sure. Scared to death of strange men but machinery does not bother her. Congratulations to you and Malibu. All four of our dogs were rescued and I think they make the best pets.

Yours looks like a sweety!
Kathy, I just talked to my nephew who raises AKC/CKC boxers (and also rescues them), who had a problem with his digging under the fence. He used an electric fence buried at the bottom of the chain-link fence to stop that problem (he hasn't had to turn it on since they found it was there!!), but he also said the "Invisible fence" (the ones with the collar attachment) also will work. He recommended it be buried 3' inside the regular fence so that it triggers the collar before the miscreant reaches the fence.
They are available at Tractor Supply Company and probably at Ag Supply if either is near you and it would be an option.

Hope this helps

Go

PS. He has this one left from the last litter if you need another young one

Dave, Looks like a great new shop addition!! However, you may want to caution him not to take lessons from the cat. I seem to remember a little finish problem mentioned in a past post. He looks big enough to stain a whole piece of furniture.
