Doh!

Reminds me of a story my granddad told me once. Evidently, in his early years, people still had horse drawn carriages. For fun, they would sneak onto someone's property at night, take their carriage apart and put it back together on the roof of their barn. Not sure if I remember that correctly, but that's the way I recall it. Sure is a good thing I have NCWWer to take up my free time. Otherwise my friends would wake up to a few pieces of their car laying in their driveway after my miserable attempt to take it apart.

In junior high school the football coach drove a Beetle (the REAL one). One day the defensive line decided to "move" his car. They carried it off. He walked out at the end of the day to an empty parking spot. He finally found it around back of the school, on the baseball field, high centered over the pitcher's mound...

We relocated an MG Midget several times while I was in High School. The best one was on top of the dugout. I guess that explains some of my back and neck problems huh?

I can relate to this too well
in high school the football coach drove a vw bug as well It made many trips to the football field, driver's ed lot, and a few other places. I have 3 compression fractured vertebrae that were from my high school years. They were not treated properly due to being diagnosed as pulled muscles. They showed up on a chest xray a little late as they had healed improperly. Sigh, shame my mind wasn't as strong as the rest of me 'back in the day'...

Yeah, we did it to a VW in college. Placed it on one of UNC's famous rock walls. Don't know how they got it down

I work for a telephone company, and we call a backhoe a "cable locator".

One Sunday I was working last year, and a guy calls in to report a damaged cable. He said, "I was playing with my backhoe...."
