At last I found a way to control the moles.

Remember the cat that just showed up in my shop, the one Dave O named penny she just loves to catch moles

Now there's a cat earning her keep!

You might slip her a little canned tuna for "mole duty."

one of my cats loves to catch moles ...the problem I have is she brings them into the house as presents for me and they are still alive, when I try to take them away from her she lets them go and then I never seem to find them....she also brings me baby squirrel.and young birds...how she catches them I don't know..she doesm't have any claws on her front paws.

I got the same problem as Rita, my cats all 3 are very effective catchers, but generally poor eradicators.
That has become my job. A few weeks ago I was awoken by my wife who informed me that one of the cats had brought a baby rabbit to us as a "present". Trying to catch a baby rabbit in your bedroom at 1:50 in the morning isn't a fun activity...they're extremely fast. It took about 45 minutes before I finally got my hands firmly around it

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

I have two West Highland Terriers. You can see one in my avatar. Can't hold the other one still long enough for pictures. They control the rodent population around my place. And they don't show any mercy either. If they bring it to you you can be sure it's gone to rodent heaven.

I would definitely be interested in borrowing/renting her for a few days. I seem to have a couple of moles who moved in over the past week or so.

I wish I knew how to post a picture. I have two, no longer stray cats, that sleep in my shop. They work together to catch the moles. They each have their own hiding spot to attack from.

I do worry about the cats though. I have two geese that have taken up in one of my pastures. The cats are trying to catch one of them. In case you do not know it geese can be really mean. The cats are also trying to catch a squirrel. The vet bill is going to be awful if they do. I had a doberman that caught a squirrel and the doberman lost.

They are smart enough to leave the horses alone.
