Ok you guys have convinced me ....I joined weight watchers. I have lost 20 lbs in 10 weeks which I am happy with Being a woman and older it will come off slower than you men. Ajso I am lazy so I don't exersice. Hope to feel good enough soon to start riding my stationary bike. I am on core and am finding it easy to keep on it.'m no good at couting points.I only have 90 lbs to go. I'm alittle worried about the coming pig picking.

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

If you keep all things in moderation, a little slow cooked pig wouldn't be so bad

Congrats on the 20lbs! It's hard work but it will pay off in the end.

We're here if you need support!

I'm pretty sure we'll have some things at the pig pickin that will be good for you!

I know lots of us are working toward being healthier and we are taking such into account. All I have to do is look down to see how close this hits

My problem isn't what I eat as much as portion control. I control and control and control....

Congratulations to you on the effort!

WTG Rita, my wife is on that program, again. The first time she lost about 80lbs in a year. I don't ask her how much she loses though. I just eat what she cooks from their recipes, some of it is pretty good.

Way to go Rita! Congratulations on the result so far.

You know, if this keeps up, we're going to have to rebrand N.C.W.W. from North Carolina Wood Worker to North Carolina Weight Watchers

Thank-you all for the words of encouragement. Better than the weight loss is what it has done to my blood sugar. way way down from over 170 down to between 87(this morning) and 119. My doctor will love that.

Great work Rita! My wife fights high triglyceride levels and it's amazing how much a healthy diet helps with them.

Keep on pushing, it's amazing how much better you will feel, on top of how much better you already feel.

WTG Rita. I was/am on core and it has been very succesful for me. Counting points would drive me nuts (nuttier). Stay focused and the lbs will continue to melt away. Don't worry about the picnic...I went this year and ate what I wanted, within reason but no desserts, and did not gain ant weight that day. Keep us posted on your progress. Twenty lbs in 10 weeks is great.
