And it'll only cost me $250...

SUPREME COURT OF NIGERIA
FROM THE DESK OF CHIEF JUSTICE
IDRIS LEGBO KUTIGI
THREE ARMS ZONE, P.M.B. 308,
GARKI -ABUJA (FCT)

ATTN: BENEFICIARY,

Kindly re-confirm the following information to the Supreme Court of
Nigeria, for final verification of your details so that the funds will be
transferred to you:
1) Your full names
2) Phone number ( mobile should be included) .
3) Your contact address
4) Current Occupation
5) Your drivers license or (any card of identification)

Please we demand an urgent response to this matter and to work with us to
enable us track these miscreants. The Federal Bureau of Investigation
(F.B.I) is working together with the Economic and Financial Crimes
Commission (EFCC) of Nigeria to eradicate scam in this country. Hence I
want you to follow your fund code below, which is given to you by the
Supreme Court of Nigeria (NG19048FGN). You are to keep this code for
security purposes.

Also note that every beneficiary will be responsible for shipping fees
which cannot be deducted from the fund because there is a bond holding the
consignment that states that only the sole beneficiary of the fund is
permitted to open it after it has been sealed by the Foreign Payment
Department. The shipping fee is just only $250 (Two hundred and fifty
dollars only) and note that this is NON-NEGOTIABLE. Also note that the
Supreme High Court here will alert the United States Bureau and also your
State Police immediately your shipment leaves the shores of Nigeria so as
to avoid any restriction and problem when the fund gets to its port of
destination.

CONGRATULATIONS.

HON. JUSTICE IDRIS KUTIGI
SUPREME COURT OF NIGERIA.

The sad thing is that there are some people dumb enough to fall for that crap. Then again, if they do get scammed it's very difficult to feel sorry for them.

Cool

Yes, I'm wondering too... What are you going to get for your $250??

Maybe you could give us his email address so we could check to see if WE are included in such a FIND?!

Thank you...

Sometimes, the scammers become scammees. The site is no longer active, but the archive still has all the goodies (although not all the pictures). Beware, this can cost you an entire afternoon -> http://web.archive.org/web/200706031...ml/letters.htm

What a hot steamin' deal. I remember getting so many notes from the former 'Finance Minister' of Nigeria telling me how he was going to transfer funds out of his country and into the USA via my bank account... if I would just send him my bank account number and social security number. Heard he was arrested in Amsterdam last year.

Hmmmm...... If any of you want to give me your bank account numbers, I'll be sure and buy a bunch of tools transfer a lot of money into your account.

It's amazing what people come up with these days and that some actually fall for those scams.
