WATER! Cleaning our 55 gallon tank I took the filter body apart to clean it - put everything back together and started to refill the tank - you guessed it the little motor that is in the filter body that circulates the water was not on tight and this was the out come -
Had to go out to the shop and grab what ever wood was first in line - a piece of Cherry and I cut some wedges

Took the wedges and put them under the tank stand so that I could get the water out from under it

Took a hair dryer to make sure everything got dry - for some reason the wedge picture keeps coming up here - it has the Wedge picture in the window for the hair dryer but here is the link to the hair dryer pic

I had to get the water up fast because of the flooring - we had to replace the flooring in the kitchen last summer because of a water leak under the sink while we where away on vacation - our oldest came over to turn everything back on and the water started leaking under the sink - LOML works at a laminate flooring manufacture and it would not be in our house if she did not get a great deal on it

UH OH!!

Glad you got it cleaned up though, hopefully you've avoided damaging the floor!

Water and wood, especially laminated wood don't mix. Glad you got it right away!
