Remember the boxer we rescued from the pound? This little fellow has continued to be quite a challenge. He is absolutely adorable, but he is definitely a climber. John expanded the "gate" between the kitchen and living room to 4'8"- he still had no problem clearing it. I came home one day and caught him in motion of clearing it. His expression was priceless.

Well, add that to our other boxer's love (read that as love to eat) of books and they destroyed several books and one of the pages of patterns from one of the Creative Woodworks & Crafts magazines. I wrote to the publisher and shared my "boxer ate the pattern" story. They got a chuckle out of it, and are sending me that page in the mail. Can't beat that for customer service.

Great to hear. That is one of the magazines I get . I also get Scroll Saw Woodworking and Craft. My story is not as exciting as yours but they too have excellant customer service.

Cathy, that is a good story of customer service. Also a good dog story. They are fun aren't they.

I also get both mags and become more and more impressed with CW&C
Thier service and attitude is extremely friendly and their content is much more suited to me as a scroller
The service they provided you is no surprise to me as I have had similiar experiences with them
......minus the dog part

thanx for sharing that

I subscribe to both magazines, but really don't often do projects from the other one. CW&C seems to have more scrolling projects and the other seems to be growing toward other types of projects that also include scrolling.

Dog update - We spent all weekend modifying the fence and I think he has stayed in the yard for two days! No further destruction in the living room either. Yea!!!!

I too get both mags - I like both of them but the CW&C mag I like the best - my renewal is coming up on the other one and I don't think that I will renew it - Might start it up again next year
