Take care of yourself and by all means LISTEN TO THE DOC!!!!!

You will be up at at 'em before ya know it!!!! (Heck.... You may have some snow to shovel this winter!!!)

I wish I could say these 12 hrs since the surgery were as easy as the actual surgery. Even with pain medication, getting out of a chair is not a fun experience. But, things will be better tomorrow. I'm glad the surgery is behind me.
Glad to hear it. Take it easy and follow Drs orders.

Glad all is going well. If you are bored I can bring over my scroll saw and some pattern for ornaments I want to make. I promise nothing over 2 oz of lifting.

Glad it all went well. Yeah, that getting up and down from a chair can be a bit eye watering the first couple days, (I think sitting down was harder than the getting up), but hopefully it will minimize the urge to do something you shouldn't.

If the hernia was impacted, it is really good that you caught it and had it fixed before it developed complications.

It sure can be painful for a couple of days and you must take it easy. I had it done about 8 years ago and I asked the doc to look at the other side as long as he was in there. Turns out he put a patch on both sides. Mine are metal mesh which are always funny looking on xrays. Take Care!!
