Cathy, I really feel for you guys. I know how hard it is but its the kindest thing you can do for him. I've had to do the same thing a few times over the years and its never easy.

I wish I could be there right now. I have no words to express my sadness for you both. I love you. Buster loves you for ever.

Cathy,

I'm so sorry. Only a pet owner understands that our four legged friends are actually beloved members of our family. We've had pets for 30 years or more and we too, have had to make the decision to say good-by.

My sincere sympathies are with you and you family.

Don

Cathy,
So sorry to hear about your boxer. Some people see their animals in a different way. I had to put down a special friend about 5 years ago. Worst day of my life. My sincerest sympthies.

Cathy,

I know the feeling last summer one of our cats developed cancer on his tongue and after many months of declining health we finally had to put him to sleep. It still pains me to see other cats that look like him, but at the same time I remember seeing him leap onto my leg and climb up to my shoulder as a kitten...

Best wishes!

Cathy, I will keep you in my thoughts! I lost my 11 year old Llewellin Setter about 6 weeks ago. And I know it is not much longer for my 14 year old Doberman "Commanchee". He lays beside me as I type. It is amazing how pets can become cherished family! And the loss of a beloved pet hurts deeply! My Llewellin's picture hangs above my computer. I have felt blessed to have them in my life! Big family of pets here. Have an English Setter, a female Black Lab, a mother cat and one of her daughters also. Each one is a joy!

Been there last year with a mix Llasa Apso/Shih Tzu of 14 years. Her quality of life was rapidly deteriorating. It's amazing how these 4-legged guys get to be a part of the family.

Cathy -- Badger asked me to let you know that Buster will have a great place to go and hope he'll save him a place when it is his turn. Our thoughts go out to both you and John, but it is the right thing to do. Been there, done that -- three times...

Cathy, I can only assure you that you are doing the right thing. I know from experience that does not lessen your pain.

My thoughts are with you and John. I too have felt this kind of pain over a four legged family member.

Cathy and John I am sooo sorry to hear that. Cathy if you were a little closer I would come running over with a big hug for you...John you'll have to get yours elsewhere
I know there is a Great Puppy Play-land in the Sky where all his aches and pains will be gone and he'll be able to sniff other dog's butts all day

My deepest sympathies go out to your whole family.

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

Cathy, I'm so sorry to hear that. It's amazing how much they become part of our lives and how hard it is when we lose them. It sounds like you gave him a great life and he did the same for you. Maybe you can provide a happy home for another when the time is right.
