Congrats on your winnings!

I'll bet you $1.00 to race me in my Honda Civic. (I'd pay a dollar to watch you burn rubber and blow right by me)

Wow! 2 grand! Did you have the 2k on you if you lost? Which track did you run at? 12.2 is pretty strong.

I had the 2000 but it wasnt for that I was looking for a bike to buy But I knew he would lose. I probably could have beat him with out the Supercharger.

I didn't see a single picture (of the car, of the engine, of the track, of the race - nothing). No pix - didn't happen.

Jon,

It might not have happened, but just in case you do have an extra $2,000, I'd like to reaffirm my friendship with you right now...

To me, that sounds like and extra 4k to be spent on tools. For that kind of money, some of the best band saws, table saws and jointer/planer combos would be docking in my a shop..... or may be a infill plane. Wane Anderson makes some that would cost all of that and more.

Food is a safe investment. Prices have gone up 65% in the last year and expected to go higher. Milk is now $7 a gallon.

I would buy long term storage food if I found an extra 2G unexpectedly.

May not make a profit, and nothing to ogle but at least it will keep you alive.

In all reality, I am going to put it all in the savings account.

Passbook savings returns what? 3%?

and real inflation is around 7%?

You lose money by putting it in the bank.

Well as a business I can put it in an account that they will invest it for awhile and I will make money with it. And If I need it I can still get it in 2 days
