Went to the drag strip in my truck because I just added a Super charger to an already healthy motor. There was a guy in a new Mustang who wsa just sure he could beat me wanted to race me. I let him look over mine and I looked his over and I knew I could win so I said " I will race you but only for some greenbacks" he threw out 2000 dollars. We raced and I beat him by about 9 car lengths.

So what should I do with my 2000 dollars?

Send it to me.

But, if you decide to keep it buy some good quality tools. Maybe some quality hand tools or festools or something you wouldn't normally treat yourself to.

Is woodworking about the wood? Of course not, it's about the tools.

Wait are you supposed to use this stuff with wood? I thought it was about collecting equipment so when friends come over they can look at it and say wow?

Congratulations!! glad you won. That is the good news. The bad news is that NC Statutes Annotated specifically provide that any proceeds from illicit gambling on automobile racing events be immmediately forfeited to the nearest available retired police officer / woodworker. I'll send you my address.

If a man's got money to burn there's always somebody willing to help tend the fire.
You might wanna look at your tires. After that race they might need replacement soon.

So what did you run? 1/4 or 1/8th? I used to have a souped up Lightning that would do 12.4 in the 1320. Not screamin' fast but she was my daily driver and dead reliable. Sure do miss her...
