Don't try to frighten me with your turning ways, Darth Earl. Your sad devotion to that ancient craft has not helped you conjure up the stolen board stretcher, or given you clairvoyance enough to find the Harbor Freight's hidden coupons...

Besides, too dangerous at the Jedi Temple. Looks like Sapwood's squirrels are Striking Back!

Looks like Bas will soon need a new user name. Something that goes with the dark side.

The force is STRONG, my wife will attest.
When a lathe is purchased, you forget everything else.
Turning you will go, forget all of the rest.

Bas, a lathe you must buy. Besides it's a tool and you won't have a complete shop until you have one anyways!

Now if you just want to play w/ some spindle turning, I have a little old school dunlap you could borrow for a bit. Atleast until the darkside has a good grip on you!!

Hmmm, turning spindles, legs, that kind of stuff - at least it's support of something SQUARE, like a table. But, I will not compromise, once you take the first step towards the Dark Side, forever will it consume you.
