Sitting in the Halifax, NS airport where it's a very comfortable 62F. I hear it's been warm at home this week? Any truth to that?!!!

We've spent this week in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and PEI and the average daily high has been about 70F. I KNOW we're in for it this afternoon when we get back to Charlotte.

Sounds like a hot week coming up!

Any rain??

Just the 3 H's. No rain. Heat index over a 100 each day. Bring some cool air back with you.

I ordered extra-hot weather just for you, to put your solar kiln through its paces.

Jack,
Stay there, or head north!
The weather here is unpleasant and I have managed to miss what little rain has fallen. Besides, I really like New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and best of all Cape Breton . . . truly beautiful and the halibut is yummy

We're expected to hit 99 tomorrow and 100 on Sunday. And I just moved from a house with perfectly good A/C, into a rental without. Oh well, it's only temporary.

I'll take this to the 62 degrees in June. I was watching the Sox play the other night and you could see their breath. Most of the fans in Fenway were wearing jackets or sweatshirts. I don't miss it at all!

Now, I will have to do something about frozen refreshments when I go see Jimmy Buffett tomorrow

It's hot, BUT, I don't have to shovel the heat, I don't slip on the heat, nor do I have to scrape the heat from my windshield each morning!!!!!

I love Nova Scotia in summer. Hopefully you went to the Bay of Fundy (National Park). Kayaking out at the town of St. Andrew, you can experience a 25' change in the height of the tide.

I agree with Roger. That is some beautiful country up there. We've spent time in all the places you mentioned several times. Always in July or August when the temps/humidity here are terrible. Your report may cause me to plan another trip up there. If so, can I send you the bill??
