Tracy - good luck with all that - Don't be a fool like me - read the label first.

Warning - Use this product one drop at a time. Keep away from eyes, pets and children. Not for people with heart or respiratory problems. Shake well and refrigerate after opening.

Of course I laid a nice fat line line on my taco and took a great big bite. As soon as it hit my mouth - I just about lost by breath and now have a blister on my tongue. I don't think I ever eat the rest of my tacos (without Dave's Ultimate Insanity Sauce) so fast in my life - I know I drank at least 2 quarts of sweet tea too trying to quench the burning in my mouth. Needless to say my eyes were watering and I had stuff coming out my nose. I've eaten whole bright orange and red habaneros before but this stuff is made from red habanero and red pepper extract (first ingredient listed) like I said read the label first. It really lives upto it's name "The new hottest sauce in the universe"... Oh my God - it's insanely HOT

Here's the linky for those of you who care to try it, just don't say I didn't try to warn you ---> http://www.davesgourmet.peachhost.co...Ghotsauces.htm

OK so I'm a nut and my head should be examined - it's the hottest sauce I ever had and I don't think I'll try anymore of that stuff for a while.

The hottest sauce I have tasted was Suzi's Sauce a friend brought back from Aruba. One little bit could set a whole Taco Salad on fire, but it also had a good flavor. The hottest food was Korean Red Pepper Soup (at a little restaurant just out the gate at Osan AB). After the third spoonful, my lips and tongue went numb, so i was able to finish the bowl, but those first three really got my attention!!

Jeff,

I've had Dave's Insanity, and like the label says "all you need is a drop", I like hot sauce and most don't live up to there name, Dave's definitely does.

Not carzy - it's ultimate insanity - just had a red cayenne pepper from my dad's garden - he picked it a few days ago and set it on the counter. I ask my dad if I could have it he started snickering and said " sure you can have that pepper" So I said "what you pick it and put it on the counter so it will torment you ever time you look at it?" He started snickered again, so I popped it in my mouth and chewed it up and swallowed it. My dad looking at me puzzled, said "is it hot?" I replied "no actually quite tasty, has a little bit of sting but no what I would call hot." Now after my encounter with Dave's Ultimate Insanity Sauce - what I used to think was hot is not - My God I've never had anything as hot as Dave's Ultimate Insanity Sauce - it blistered my tongue now that is HOT

Having been raised in Cajun country, the term hot is somewhat subjective to me. I love hot food and consider Tabasco mild. I eat it on everything. (including mashed potatoes). But, I am by no means able to handle it like some of the heavyweights I knew down home.

I used to work at a refinery outside of Baton Rouge where the Cajuns and some islanders (Caribbean) used to constantly dare each other to try their newest hot concoction. The islanders would usually win... the stuff would make your eyes water as soon as you entered the kitchen. Yeoww!!! I have an enduring memory of one bald cajun mopping his head with a towel as he fought to stay in the game... it wasn't pretty.
