I've seen both of those houses. How dare they do something to spoil the unadulterated beauty of Cary

Lighten up folks...this world would look a lot better with a little Pink, Blue or Peach paint...I know my shop floor does

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

If I had neighbors complaining about the color of my house like that, I would probably just pick an even brighter color

Looks like Cary wants to turn into the REAL BORG.
Resistance is futile......submit!
I give the folks ups for not wanting to love in a 'vinyl village'.

Same reaction here Geoff, I am so glad I live out in farm country.

Glenn (aka the guy who just painted the trim on his new shop black which contrasts with the house trim )

We may have a little Cary in our blood around here - notice the background on the site is beige - it's a good neutral color and we strive to stay neutral except when it comes to Steve's handcut dovetails.

DITTO!!!

In my opinion, if you don't like the color a neighbor painted their house, put up (the money) or shut up... If you really want a neighbor to paint their house a different color you should pay the painters.

We live in a world of color why not have colorful houses too?

Chris

The complainer needs to get a life .. That pink house has been there for at least NINETEEN years. And has been that color all those years.

Complain if you will, but Cary does not compare to Overland Park, KS. You had to get permission to change the color of your house in many of the subdivisions. You were not allowed to work on your vehicles, no boats unless in a garage, and no curbside parking. All vehicles had to be in the garage.

I often said that you would get ticketed for air pollution for passing gas outside....
