Now you know how people came up with those crazy color schemes for laptops. It's easy to confuse the work piece and computer when your mind wanders.....

Dave,

Have you used the HF sprayer yet ? Because I thought that you originally bought it for this project. Let us know how it works once you use it.

Thanks,
Jimmy

That will hopefully be today, once I figure out how it works and how I am going to stage and handle all these pieces

Bump. Where is the top coat pics? Did you brush or did you spray?

You seem to be getting a bit slack on posting updates on this project. What gives?

Ah, the temperature wasn't right for a water based finish. It was really windy. The moon didn't set right. I had gas. I had to build a dang chicken coop

I haven't got it done yet. I am hesitant to spray WB poly in my shop for the potential over-spray issue. So I would like to do it outside, but I am concerned about the temps. I really don't want to brush on 3 coats over these two large pieces.
I did try out the HF turbine HVLP set up with some water and it seems to do great. I have no experience with spraying finishes, so I don't know what to expect.
Any good ideas on how to contain over-spray in a small shop that won't break the bank? My shop is heated and would be ideal to spray in, if I can keep it off of all my tools.

Dave
