LOML's aunt is celebrating her 90th birthday. Heading up there for the party.

I see a dinner at Parkers and Gardners in my future! <yum>

Parker's in Wilson has VERY good barbecue = I LIKE it.

Doug Saul's in Nashville (very close to Momeyer) is even better than Gardner's for barbecue IMHO. I would recommend Doug Saul's to anyone traveling in that area for a pleasant surprise.

I like the BBQ dinner with a wing on the side, fries and blackeyed peas. Their hushpuppies rock, too!

I have eaten at Gardner's a few time and I like the buffet. If you just want eastern NC BBQ then Saul's is very good.

Thanks Chuck!

I havent heard of Sauls, but since we are going to be in the area...may have to check it out.

I _really_ like eastern NC bbq. LOML introduced it to me about 14 years ago. Until then I had been eating the mustard bbq down here in SC for about 40 years. I became an instant convert and havent eaten mustard base bbq since <g>.
