In case you missed it the Masters will be on direct tv, channels 701-710. The reason for so many channels is some will be HD and some will not. They will be showing what is also available online. No extra charge!!

Watched the par 3 last night, glad they decided to show it this year. Don't have DTV, but just watched on ESPN

Watched te highlights after work tonight. Couples(?) hole in one and gave the ball to a kid in the gallery. Tiger chipped in. The course looks great. Should be a GREAT weekend in Augusta.

First time on the grounds Wednesday, entertaining customers with work. Major observations vs. TV appearance:
  • You cannot tell via TV how HILLY the course is. Only flat lie on the course is the clubhouse floor!
  • You cannot tell via TV how AMAZING the conditions are. Not a weed seen anywhere, only saw 4 or 5 bare spots over the entire grounds!
  • You cannot imagine the beauty of the azaleas, the trees, the grass in concert
  • It is an amazingly compact golf course-total land usage for course, 9-hole par 3, practice grounds, 10 cabins and clubhouse, and buffer zone: 365 acres
  • You cannot imagine how quiet 40,000 people can be, then how LOUD 40,000 people can be!
  • Yes, the pimento cheese sandwiches are the best I've ever had and only $2.00 each!
If you play golf, or have an interest in it, or want to see how a tournament should be run, MAKE THE TRIP AT LEAST ONCE!

Yeah, I know, no pics, didn't happen...forgot the camera. WILL NOT forget it next year!

Sounds like a great day Jerry. I would love to see just how beautiful that course is in person. I'm sure photos, etc just can't do justice.

Hard to have a bad day when taking care of your grandson on his first birthday. Just the two of us and we had great fun.

However, I was not happy about the coverage of the golf. Either I can't operate a remote control or what was advertised did not happen.
