Went to New Hampshire for a three-week vacation to see our daughter and grandsons in October. Since the route we take is 95-26-77-81-etc. and my wife got to go to many quilting stores up north, I figured we would stop in Charlotte and spend a few minutes to see what Klingspor’s had.
I told the wife I would not be long and doubted if I would spend an hour. So 2 ¼ hours later and lighter in the wallet we finally hit the road toward Florida again. The two gentlemen (sorry I have forgotten their names) that were working on Friday October 31st were really great to talk to and full of fantastic information. I dug into the bin where you can buy sandpaper by the lb. And got 2 ½ lbs. stuffed into a bag. I also picked up the two for one boxes of the mixed grit special, carried over from the previouse weekend extravaganza. I now have enough sanding material to last me a lifetime. Also picked up more accessories for my Woodsharp.
When I cashed out I didn’t even have to mention my NCWoodworker membership as they already had me in the computer and automatically applied my discount. But of course I reconfirmed that I was a member of this great forum.
Great people, great experience and hope to stop again on our next trip north in a year or so.

Sounds like one of my visits, I don't buy a lot, but usually spend twice as much time looking around as I plan.
