Thanks, Phillip -- I did mention it way down in another post, but this way others will see it -- I got pictures of the other North Carolina Woodworker demonstrators at work, but I couldn;t take any of me doing mine -- maybe someone got one of me so I can prove it to my wife! I did make the group picture on Friday, but it was way too busy on Saturday to try that again, so I went with candid shots!

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

Hey who's this sharp looking guy?

Phillip did a great job of teaching. I tried my hand at scrolling. When I started, he had a straight blade on there (#5 I think) ... I lasted about 30 seconds doing some small tight turns on the face portion of the pattern. Phillip took pity on me and asked me to try again using Scott's flying dutchman spiral blade ... man that was AWESOME! It creates more sawdust, makes a bigger kerf (thus it is would not be ideal for all applications) but man it cuts so smooth. I'm hooked.

As soon as I finish school, I may have to get LOML to get me a saw for a graduation gift! Thanks to Steve for setting all this up, Klingspor for hosting, Phillip for teaching and Scott for letting me use his saw ... although next time maybe I'll just go over to his house...use a lot less gas .

Hope everyone had a great time. I wish I could have been there but between having to work this weekend and school there was no way. Hopefully next year.

You are welcome Will - if you go over to Scott's don't let him talk you into trying that Darth Turner - if you do you will get drawn into the Dark Side

Will, you are welcome to stop over anytime. BTW I have scroll saws, 3 if you count my Dremel, and the dark side will NEVER consume me.
