I logged on about 4:15 AM this morning after I heard my wife heading for the loo and was amazed the I was one of three members on the site! Cathy and Dennis (cskipper and Gotcha6) are early birds, indeed. I couldn't get back to sleep, so I browsed for awhile -- went back to sleep about 5:30...

I have gotten up for so many years to have coffee with John before he left for work. Now if I am still asleep at 4:30 I consider it to be amazing.

Cathy, Care to teach this to my wife? I will stand out of range when you mention it.

LOML likes to sleep in on her staggered days off. She doesn't like to see the sun coming up on those days. One day I asked her if she'd be getting up soon. "What time is it?" she asked. "11:30," I said.
Her reply: "Well the sun's still coming UP isn't it?"
Somehow we make it work anyway. That ain't a deal breaker.

It depends - does she realize that 4:30 comes twice a day? 5:30? 6:30?

Definitely not a morning person. My natural rythm seems to be to sleep from about 2 AM to 9:30-10:00. I was always cranky and tired when I had to work for someone else and conform to business hours. Now I just get up later and work later.
