I highly recommend CBS Sunday Morning - It's news about stuff. Sure, they might do a human interest piece here and there that's kind of depressing, but you also get news about Art, Architecture, Style (their piece on the 50th Anniversary of the Bikini was particularly interesting ), and other useful things like adding a coat of paint to the World's Largest Ball of Paint.

True, it does tie up an hour and half between 9am and 10:30 am...and it is quite possible that the couch monster could get a firm grip on your rear end. But generally, after sitting still that long, I'm about ready to get up and go. *And* I have a generally pleasant outlook for the day.

Just my 2 cents.

I'm generally an early riser, but not to the extent of most of you. I generally wake up around 7am on the weekdays, and slightly later on the weekends. Unlike some folks though, I am a morning person. I know people who work all night and sleep all day. There is no way I could do that. I LOVE the daytime. Like a few of you, I tend to stay up a little later at night and have found myself all alone on here. I think Friday or Saturday night I was on here at 2am and there were actually 2 others on here too. I was sitting there wondering why on Earth anyone else was up at that hour.

I have always been a morning person. If I make 6:30 on a weekend it is late for me. I can't wait until the day I have a real shop that I can work in at 6:00 AM or earlier.

Boy I am sick....

I am often up late and early. Over the weekend I was at Y camp so I had no early posts, but I was up before 6:00 both days. I sleep past 7:00 maybe once a month.

Jimmy, I actually had to go look that one up. My Eagles and Don Henley collections were thrown away with all my other music which was on cassette tape some time ago. Not that I will mention my wife's name in connection with the disappearance....

Toss away old cassettes, that's sacrilege. Some of us still haven't upgraded our older vehicles

I am a morning person ... EXCEPT when I take allergy meds. This pollen is wreaking havoc on me. I wake up feeling like I got hit by a truck. And as soon as I roll out of bed and stand up, all the stuff comes draining out ... ewww...sorry for the graphic images, but I'll be happy when I can get back into the routine of waking up at 5:30am.

My wife likes to say that she is a morning person, but anything before 10:00 AM is still night...

Not much of an early riser. When I started second shift 3 years ago that made it worse by the time I get home and wound down it's pushing 1:30 or 2:00 so Its hard to want to get up before 9.

Your wife and mine might be related If you ask anyone who has ever planned to do something with me on the weekend, my day doesn't get to start before 10:00. I am generally up at 5:45 every morning for work, and then on the weekend my 4 year old lets me sleep untill around 7:00. But I can't do much until my wife wakes up from her beauty sleep around 10. But she looks good so it must be working

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.
