I highly recommend CBS Sunday Morning - It's news about stuff. Sure, they might do a human interest piece here and there that's kind of depressing, but you also get news about Art, Architecture, Style (their piece on the 50th Anniversary of the Bikini was particularly interesting ), and other useful things like adding a coat of paint to the World's Largest Ball of Paint.
True, it does tie up an hour and half between 9am and 10:30 am...and it is quite possible that the couch monster could get a firm grip on your rear end. But generally, after sitting still that long, I'm about ready to get up and go. *And* I have a generally pleasant outlook for the day.
Just my 2 cents.

I have always been a morning person. If I make 6:30 on a weekend it is late for me. I can't wait until the day I have a real shop that I can work in at 6:00 AM or earlier.

Jimmy, I actually had to go look that one up. My Eagles and Don Henley collections were thrown away with all my other music which was on cassette tape some time ago. Not that I will mention my wife's name in connection with the disappearance....

I am a morning person ... EXCEPT when I take allergy meds. This pollen is wreaking havoc on me. I wake up feeling like I got hit by a truck. And as soon as I roll out of bed and stand up, all the stuff comes draining out ... ewww...sorry for the graphic images, but I'll be happy when I can get back into the routine of waking up at 5:30am.

Not much of an early riser. When I started second shift 3 years ago that made it worse by the time I get home and wound down it's pushing 1:30 or 2:00 so Its hard to want to get up before 9.
