Scott's thread about the rescue bridge prompted me to inquire if it would be OK to post some of the rescue dogs in need of new homes. My wife has been pressuring me to do this for a while, but I wasn't sure if the posts would be welcome on a regular basis. Steve and Tracy have assured me the posts would be welcome here!

Right now we have 2 small dogs (30~35 lb range) named Jazz and Emmy living with us. These two were born in the wild and are a little shy, but they have come a loooong ways and are really sweet dogs. They are siblings and I'm not sure if they should stay together or not. They play wonderfully together, but may bond with a new owner quicker if they were separated.

If anyone is interested in giving one or both of the girls a home please let me know! They are about 10 months old, spayed, and up to date with all vaccinations.

This is Jazz. She is full of personality!

This is Emmy, once you gain her trust she is a snuggly little girl.

That's the purpose behind having a "sports continous shooting" mode on the camera, isn't it? They look sweet. Our pound rescued boxer is enough to keep me busy - better to get them already rescued with potential behavior modification already in place. Good luck in finding them good homes.

Charlie the Beagle is a rescue also. He was cast, we believe, because he ain't much for huntin'. Charlie says, "I'm a lover, not a fighter."

Thanks for the comments guys. These two are really sweet. Jazz has really warmed up to me, but Emmy is still pretty shy. Of course they both love my wife and play like crazy with her. They are also great with the cats and other dogs.

If you know of anyone thinking about a dog, please put us in touch!
