I am proud of you man. I know how much perseverence it takes to drop weight. I'm the type of person who has to really try hard to make a paradigm shift from "living to eat" to "eating to live". It sure looks like you're on the right track, and if you ever feel yourself slipping just log on here and we'll give you the kick in the butt necessary!!!!

You are continuing to do well Doug. It seems I'm stuck on 78 lbs lost in 36 weeks. I'm 3 1/2 from my goal but it is much slower now. I averaged 3 lbs/week for 21 weeks...but it has slowed since then. I may not be quite as obsessed with it as I was. However, those last 3 1/2 will be gone by the end of August, if not before. Don't change what you're doing.

You all may be bored with this, but it helps me so here goes. Today was my week ten weigh in. I was in Germany all week, despite having a beer and 1/2 a chicken at a beer garden , I lost 4.6 lbs. My total loss so far is 33.6 lbs! Still got a long way to go. Hope to be near my goal by next March.

Doug

Doug, this never gets boring. Awesome job on losing that much despite being on travel AND enjoying it. That's how it remains manageable. And just think how much more stuff you can fit in your shop by next March now that you can extend the workbench by several inches!

Doug you are not boring us at all. If it helps you lose that weight post daily. I did the same thing with my no smoking thread. Congratulations.

Awesome job Doug. To be losing this much at week 11 - phenomenal! Of course, pretty soon you won't have the body mass to move that big Jointer/ Planer around, so let me know when you want to swap it for my little 6" one No charge.

Had a 2 week gap, i.e., I missed a weigh-in cause we were in Myrtle beach. Weighed less on wednesday, but weighin is on saturday (today). I only lost 1.2 lbs. since last weigh in for a total of 38 lbs. Hoping to pass 40 by next saturday!

Had ny weigh-in this AM. I made up for the small loss last week (actually two weeks since I missed a week on vacation) with a loss of 5.2 lbs.!!!! I am down a total of 43.2 lbs. Almost half weigh there (pun intended)!
