Doug,

My wife has done the flex plan before with great success. It is all about dedication to the plan and goals. I wish you all the luck. Save those flex points for eating out, wife did that and we were able to go out often so she could have what she wanted to eat. Hang in there, you can do it.

Good Job!!! I've kind of plateau'd at 15.5 lbs for nearly a week, so it's 15.5 lbs for 5 weeks. Today my boss took me out to lunch so I have to work that off tonight.

Keep it up.

Doug, here's big "attaboy" for you. Losing weight really makes you feel better all over.

Since my heart attack in February, I've lost about 27 lbs. I'm in a cardiac rehab class 3 days a week (when I'm home) and walk about 2 miles in that, and put in 10-15 minutes on the X Trainer.

I'm also just eating less. Cutting out most snacks, drinking more water & liquids. Trying to make this a lifestyle change that I wish I had done when I was your age. I'm confident I would have had much less back trouble, not to mention the old ticker!

Good luck and hang in there! The best diet/plan is the one that works for YOU!

Keep up the great work Doug! My father lost over 150lbs on Weight Watchers and I've started to follow the rules informally. I have visitors over and lots going on so I'm starting slow, but I hope to continue for many years to come.

That's astounding. I hear a pound a week is usually considered great. 16.8 in three weeks is phenomenal! What, you set yourself a reward plan where you get to buy X amount of tools for each pound?

Great job Doug!

Way to go Doug, nice job, especially considering that a portion of that time was spent away from your home turf

Way to go Doug. You're doing great. What is your goal. If you don't want to comment on a public forum, I'll understand.
