I quit 34 years ago after a bad bronchial cold -- never regretted it Don't ever start again -- others here have succeeded in quitting and you can too!

Hang in there Rob!!!!

Four years and counting for me too. Had a lung collapse on me three times in 9 months.(Wakeup call!) Underwent surgery, dropped the stoggies and have not had a cold since!!!! Feel great, gained a little weight, but the best part was the addition(s) to the tool budget!!

Whenever the urge strikes, get back to this post real quick and I am sure there will be someone here to get you over the hump!!!

Good Luck!

Wayne

MMMMMM................ A cigarette would be good. Keep trying and keep going at it. I ended up having to go the chantix route, but it has worked so far for me. I have been 9 months, 10 days, 19 hours and 18 minutes not that I am counting.

Chantix worked great for me with the exception of the slight stomach upset right after taking, it was fine taken with food though.

Congrats bro and stay strong. 6 years and counting for me. I still enjoy a cigar now and again, but I don't inhale anymore since I stopped smoking reds!

Brian.
