Hello friends,
Does anyone know of any shipping company's that are some what reasonable in price. I want to get something shipped from williamsville illinois that weighs around 200 pounds. I checked ups freight and they want 5-600. Way to much to make it worth it. Thanks friends and have a blessed day.

I don't know how their rates compare, but you might want to check out PittOhio shipping http://works.pittohio.com/mypittohio/
Several companies that ship things to me at work have started using them for their good rates.

HTH,
Dave

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

I think the best bet for gettting that from Illinois to NC would be using another sort of LTL (Less than Truck Load) carrier... or perhaps a moving company. they may be able to do it for much less than that, if there is someone moving this way. That might require some negotiating on your part, tho???

thanks friends, Don't think NCPony will work on this one unless by the odd chance someone here has a relative at williamsville illinois, and will be going there before July 31, and would be willing to pic up something. I'm an optimist but that one will be a stretch! LOL

Micheal,
You would be amazed at how close the NC pony express worked for you. I just returned from Quincy Ill in my 2500HD truck. As Maxwell Smart would say,
"Missed it by that much"

Now I never would have thought that someone from NC would have been up in that area.

Cathy, what Im trying to get is an INCA Jointer/Planner its about 200lbs the owner said its 28" Wide 42" Long 38" High.

Im going to have to see what I can do with shipping. If I cant find something reasonable It wont happen. Its a good machine that i could use for the small shop area that I will have in Germany.
