Flash Update:

Man are those beavers ever busy
The limb in pic No. 2 is all but gone. I've followed their trail to the retention pond where the rest floats. And wood chips abound

So this afternoon I put up 100' of wire fencing. Perhaps they'll be too lazy to walk around. If not, I'll go to 150' or 200'. Dem trees are mine

One strand of electric fencing will do the trick. Beavers don't jump very high, so only one strand will be necessary.

Jumping beavers
I hope not!

Anyway, just checked the Sap-fence (in lieu of Zap-fence) and I am happy to report the defense system is holding

They may be smarter than me, but they're lazy

Roger

Glad to hear the Sap-fence appears to be holding, Roger. If that doesn't work maybe you could talk Bas into coming over and giving them a Bas-slap or twelve...

Oh, sorry. I meant, err...my jokes all are a little fishy....that's sort of the same thing, right?

Not that it makes any difference but the fish are rainbow trout, or maybe it's a Bas Trout Slap!

You're absolutely right! But Google doesn't have a lot of search options to filter by fish species

I'm going fishing after work -- maybe I can take a picture of a proper Bucketmouth.
