Unhappy

Managed to finish the garden fence this week . . . so no more sharing the garden with wabbits and deer.

But Alas and Alack!
Beavers from a nearby subdivision retention pond have discovered my yard. They performed unauthorized tree service on my 20ft high corkscrew willow, holly, and assorted saplings
First time I've ever used flame emoticon in a post
The willow wasn't completely destroyed and I've managed to cobble together some fencing to protect some trees. Also left them the remains to feast on for temporary diversion. The subdivision folks called the Ranger who is supposed to "relocate" them.

The largest downed limb is about 4" in diameter
And apparently their DC unit doesn't have a separator for chips

That is amazing! I would love to see them in action - on somebody elses trees!

Caught one on a top water plug one time. You might want to visit the pond and give them a try. They fight better than a large mouth Bas, I mean bass .

Yeah, it's a shame we haven't figured out a way to harness Beaver Power. Wish my chisels were as sharp as theirs

Don't make me come all the way down to Lancaster and bas-slap you! In case you haven't read the North Carolina Woodworker policy lately, _I_ make the fish jokes around here!

Oh, sorry. I meant, err...my jokes all are a little fishy....that's sort of the same thing, right?

Is it me, or do threads started by Roger degenerate into mindless nonsense much quicker than those started by anyone else?

Not that I'm implying anything.

(No folks, it's too early to repost the tin foil hat picture)

Why not, as they were posted by a degenerate? Sorry, Bas, but just too good to pass up. You owe me one now. Bruce

Them Beavers are bad news - I see they are luring you to the dark side by leaving you round wood to spin. I'm with Mike I hear they make good hats.

Wonder how they'd do in one of those squirrel recipes I saw earlier this week?
