Has anyone ever had dealings with Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Glatlinburg, Tenn.? I'm a member of WAWA (Wilmington Area Woodturners Assn). I received an e-mail from them today telling about some fall turning classed at this school. There is one that caught my eye. It's a class on bowl turning geared to the beginner to intermediate skill level. I've e-mailed the instructor to find out how much of a beginner they accomodate. Instructors name is Warren Carpenter. I'm just wondering if anyone had heard of the school or instructor.

The down side is that if I attend the week long class, I'll have to miss the Klingspor show in Hickory.
