Angry

I took Michiko to ER just before noon yesterday.
They took her into surgery about 6:30, she was in her room at 8:30 and I spent most of the night there.
But they let her go home this morning, shes doing great just no more appendix

Earl,
Sure am glad everything turned out okay, but it sure can be scarry when it's our child and "we" can't fix it and have to trust others to do that.
By the way, how old is she?
You, your family, and she will continue to be in our praryers.

I am glad that the surgery went well, and she's home. She'll just need some extra TLC from you.

I'm most sympathetic about LOYL's appendectomy -- I remember the anxiety I felt (and discomfort) the day I had mine -- Once she is past the healing of her incision in a few days, she'll be better than new! We wish her a speedy recovery.

Earl glad to hear your wife is doing ok. When a family member is sick or hurting you also hurt. Hope she is fully recovered soon.

Earl,
Sorry to hear LOYL had to go through that. I know first hand that it is NOT pleasant at all (after going through it a couple of years ago)! Very glad to hear she is home and recovering well!!

Treat her extra nice the next few days and whatever you do, don't make her laugh -- it can hurt a lot the first couple of days.

Best wishes,
Jim

Earl,

Watch closely for infection, any swelling, hotness of the skin, redness or discomfort beyond the expected soreness from surgery should be reported to her doctor immediately.

When I had mine taken out thirty years ago I had a bad case and it took extra measures to heal properly.

Hope it goes well and no further attention is needed. I'm certainly glad you had the wherewithall to get her to the ER. A lot of people don't realize how serious a little tummy ache can be.

Earl, you can turn her a new segmented apendix.
I am so glad to hear that Michiko is OK and that life will soon return to normal. Spending the day in the ER isn't something that anyone wants to do. But you were able to be there for her, and the doctors took care of things, and all will be right soon.

Dave

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

This may be a "routine" surgery, but it's still surgery. Scary stuff. I hope she has a speedy recovery, you need someone to mix that Japanese lacquer! Good to hear everything went OK. Keep us posted.

The most important thing is that she is now back home. Do not let her overexert herself before she is fully healed.
