We live in a small neighborhood that backs up to a soy bean corn field and I fenced in the Back yard 10 years ago so we could have a place for the dog to play and not run off. The fenced in part is probably 110 x 130 or so and about 4 feet tall and its split rail with wire on the inside.

Lately 3 female deer have been jumping the fence at night and sleeping in the yard. I cant get pictures of them, they sleep in the back corner under some trees. its kinda cool that they are there but I wish I could get a picture.

pretty awesome Jon!!! I grew up on 100 acres in northern NY, and we would often encounter deer on the property..... 'cept during hunting season!

+10 Try looking at the feed store on Yadkinville Rd (old Hwy 421), across from the fire dept.

A four foot fence ain't nothing to a deer. They may think of t as a little protection, but nothing to step over.

A salt block and some corn close to a window may work for taking pictures.

That is exactly what I was thinking!!!

You could set out a game camera and get pics when they walked by it. Or put a little corn closer to your house every couple days and eventually thy will get used to coming close to your house where you might be able to get pics.

We haven't had deer in the fence but they think nothing of coming down to it. We have a yellow lab, border collie, red heeler, and blue heeler that are kept mostly in the yard and the deer have been known to disregard them and come to right up to the fence with them on the other side. They are skittish but not particularly afraid.
The ac kicking on and off bothers them more than the dogs. They are within 20 feet of the house. Dang things LOVE loml's flowers.
I wouldn't hesitate to harvest a deer but something about these being here puts them off limits. At least to us. Now the neighbors are another story I'm afraid. Maybe it isn't a good thing to 'name' them.
I'll get some pictures posted.

I like to watch the deer, but they love munching on the flowers.

Best way I have found to get a real close up photo of a deer is to apply some lead oxide. Has to be applied at a high velocity to work best. I suggest a 270, or 225 swift. Even a six foot fence is easily jumped by a deer. After putting up electric fence, I actually got to see my day lilies bloom this year. Having killed four with my vehicles over the last 15 years, I'm for open season from the road right of way, at night. No limits! Every one of my neighbors has killed at least one with their car / truck. One got three in one season.

I enjoy going to the grocery store and reading all the pretty labels, they are so colorful and well designed. They have such lovely names and pictures on the boxes and cans. I like seeing them there all lined up in perfect rows, stacked two high and deep in the shelf. Just lovely.
