I've been coming to this site regularly the last year or more & I've noticed something that is very pleasing. Perhaps the Moderators can weigh in on the reason; is the site mellowing out, or are you guys quick on the draw. Tell us, has your job become easier lately?
I'd like to think it has.

Re: Question for the Moderators

I actually had a post deleted a couple of weeks ago, but no idea why. I was still subscribed to the thread, so I know it was posted, but the actual post had been removed. Nobody every contacted me to say they were doing it or why. There was nothing inflammatory in the post, just blade specs for cutting plastic. I wonder if this has happened to others who aren't feeling a need to mention it.

Re: Question for the Moderators

Ummm....... I may have done that. I was trying to delete my post, and now that I look back, I was wondering why when I deleted my post it was still there and had to go back and delete it again. Being on the North Carolina Woodworker BOD I have moderator privileges, but I make it a point not to moderate (except myself). I didn't realize I deleted someone elses post.

My apologies. It was unintentional, and I didn't know that I had done it to you.

What he said. Been mod'ded a couple times myself and even though I disagreed, I understand. That's why I'm still here and will remain here for as long as I'm allowed. Great people on this forum and that's not something you find everyday anymore.

Re: Question for the Moderators

Oh it's not as PC as you might think.....

I am a bit surprised we haven't had a blow up over dust collectors though....
