Dave (or whoever is there)
Why does this site loose my user name and password? I have it checked on "remember me". But about every two weeks or so (I visit much more often than that) when I open up the site it has not remembered me and I have to type in my user name and password.

Hey Jim in Mayberry
The persistence of your being logged in is actually controlled by your computer as opposed to the site. When you log in and ask to be remembered, a file is downloaded to your computer. The file is a 'cookie' but is basically just a file that is recognized by the site. This cookie can be removed when you clear your cache/internet files/etc. or perhaps run some 'cache cleanup' type utilities, if you do so.

Anyway, the short answer is that somehow you are clearing the cookie from your temporary internet files and the website can no longer find that cookie that identifies you to it.

Regards,
Chris
