For some reason, "New Posts" omits Member Announcements. I've been watching the "RTP Lunch" thread ( http://www.ncwoodworker.net/forums/f23/rtp-lunch-17606/
) and, while it showed up on the front page list of Recent Threads,
the "New Posts" link does not list it. I've experienced several other threads like this, is there a reason that New Posts is not all inclusive?

Just in case there is some misunderstanding about new post:
New Posts only show up until you look at the thread, then it will not show up. If another post is made it will then show up again

Ah, I understand. Is there a way to extend the "Recent Threads" list on the front page? I like to see the latest active threads, but sometimes miss things that have rolled past off those shown on the front page.

thanks again. Actually there isn't a way without modifying some code. This is a frequent request but at this time I am not position to make the changes.
