I am not sure what that means. I had assumed I would be DQ with them when I was DQ in general but that doesn't seem to be the case. I might make it over there on Saturday (though I am wunnathem bottom feeders more likely to be shopping across the street ) and it would be nice if I could get a discount. Yeah, I am cheap (I was once accused of trying to use a coupon at the flea market, but that isn't entirely true ).

Andy,
I'm not 100% sure I understand your question . . . but that doesn't stop me from answering

Klingspor discount is handled differently. Steve sends a list of DQ qualified folks to Klingspor (once a month I think) and they load it into their system. So it is a little out of sync with the others.

HTH,
Roger

I thought the whole DQ system had been put on hold?

I dunno

But the NCWWer discount card, East Wake Hardwood, and Hardwood Store of NC are current and available under the NC WW Info drop down menu.

I visited Klingspor-Winston Salem today and they were happy to give the discount when I mentioned North Carolina Woodworker. Saved me about 20 bucks!

NO PICS, DIDN'T HAPPEN, RIGHT?

Bought some jigsaw blades, remote switch for DC, books, Freud Silver Avanti blade for tablesaw, 450 General Finishes Satin, etc.

Nice folks.

EDIT - typo in title I meant "my Klingspor status"
Andy, your Klingspor status shows deleted as a result of a bug that was qualifing people too early. The fix for that bug caused anybody who had been made DQ too early to now show a last Klingspor status as deleted. Don't worry about that. It will adjust at the end of the month. As for the rest, Roger has it right. You were given DQ on 4/17-18 So Klingspor doesn't yet know about that. We provide update status once a month, at the begining of the month. May's update has not yet been sent. ( I've offered to update their discount database automatically, but they were enthralled by the idea.

Nope You may be thinking of the hold on making changes to the DQ system. We had discused title changes and software changes, but I wanted to think more about them before we did anyhting.

Nick, not sure why that happenedBut I have a theory. They look up people by zipcode, I'll bet that they still have you under the old zip. when you go again, and if they don't find you, give them the old zip. Meanwhile, I'll check further.

May be something going on. I was in the Raleigh store on Monday and they told me I wasn't DQ. They gave me the discount anyway 'cause they RECOGNIZED me....wonder why??? I only go there once or twice per week...sometimes more

Thanks Steve
They found my customer info but said I was not in there discount system. I had an old DQ card and they had no issues giving me the discount. I did notice on the right hand side of my page it says Klingspor Status " Sent- 05/29/2007"
