Others will chime in on the move, etc features. I have found that the pictures I load show up in reverse order (last picture is first in gallery). Therefore, I load them in the reverse order that I want them in the album.

Matt, you can manually select the order in which your pictures appear in an album. If you open the Photo Gallery, then click My Albums in the upper left corner you will get a listing of all your albums and next to the main thumbnail picture you'll see Sort Pictures. With this function you can assign a numerical ordering to the pictures in that album.
