I subscribe to CPSC announcements and today they reannounced a recall of power washers and air compressors. The brands include Devillbis and Porter Cable I believe. It might be worth a look.

Re: CPSC Compressor Recall

Thanks for the heads-up Glenn. I have a DeVilbiss pressure washer. I will check it out tomorrow.

Re: CPSC Compressor Recall

To save everyone a bit of time and possible concern, this recall only affects air compressors and power washers with pneumatic tires and plastic tire hubs. Pressure washers and compressors with solid tires or metal tire hubs are not affected.

If your compressor/power washer doesn't have pneumatic tires w/plastic hubs, it isn't affected by the recall.
