Outfeed table
Sept. issue of Wood features an outfeed table/ assembly table that stores over the top of your contractor saw. For those who are space deprived, this may be a solution. As a plus, junk doesn't accumulate on saw top.

I have been thinking of making myself a decent outfeed table. It's gotta beat a piece of melamine over 2 saw horses...

i have been known to stack cardboard boxes ......it has a nice cushioning effect
