I think I can use all of my tools now. My problem is all the scraps of wood that I can't bear to throw away, and then there are all those little pieces of hardware and brushes and God-knows what-all that produce clutter.

We didn't let the local builder finish our house so I could do all the woodwork, window seats, shelves, desks, entertainment center and built-ins. It's been fun, but because I have so much that needs to be done I can't spend time building much needed storage in my workshop.

I was lucky to get the 24 x 24 workshop as a separate building when we built our retirement house.

Pictures attached.

I keep the stereo on really loud. I think a tv would be dangerous.

You can actually see the floor in your shop. You don't have enough stufff in there. The only way I can see the floor in my shop is to pick up one of my feet! Buy more tools and stuff now! Nice little piece of heaven.

I am still figuring out my workshop also...and probably always will Just today I started to modify the bench that I made when I first bought the house, it needs a complete retro-fit for better hand tool use
As far as the scrap hoarding issue, I have a major problem with it. I just loaded the back of my little pick-up heaped with scraps and off-cuts that I had been saving in case I could use them...I never did Time to start the hoarding again.

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

That is definitely a lot of space. Like the wood stove. Always wanted one myself in the shop.

Rule 1. Keep mama happy

Rule 2. Refer to Rule 1

I'd say you have your priorities in order. Tidy up the nest then tidy up the shop.

BTW, very nice shop!!
