Do the best you can with what you have and you'll have a lot more than you think.

No offense taken Mike. It is actually very inspiring to know that some of us really have to work to get their shop up an running.

Re: My shop's a mess

At least your shop looks like it gets a lot of use. There is no sense in having a shop if you don't make a mess in it from time to time.

Ray
I was careful not to show the floors. If I have time I'll make another picture tonight.

Mike,
If you bring that band saw over to my shop you will have a lot more room! You shop looks like it did the last time I saw it. Good job

Re: My shop's a mess

I had a boss once (Col, USAF) who mentioned when he came into my office that "A cluttered desk is the sign of an undisciplined mind", to which my reply was " An empty desk is the sign of an empty mind or someone who has nothing to do". Neither is a true maxim. Its what you produce that counts.
Nobody can fault you on production, so the condition of your shop should be of no one else's concern.
My first thought on seeing the pics was "and the problem is..????"

Re: My shop's a mess

OK, I'll admit it, that mess would drive me nuts. Guess I'm a neat freak. Then again I don't care how rusty my chisles get as long as the business end is kept sharp. So we all have our peeves
