Now if you'll excuse me while I wipe the druel off the keypad and continue to turn a deeper shade of green.

Lots'a Congrats, Lamar

Canuck, since my wife is a Vet and loves critters, I simply tell her that in order to clear the land, and build the pastures, fencing, round pens, livestock ponds, etc, on our farm, I need the tools and heavy equipment in order to accomplish these things for her, so in essence all of these tools are for her!

It's to the point where she admits "yes dear, I know that it's all for me" .

So, she's never given me much static re tool acquisitions (in fact, she's even suggested a few of them, bless her soul!).

As to the sockets, extensions, wrenches, screwdrivers, punches, micrometers, etc, fortunately I'm in good shapre here as the box on the left is pretty full (I used to own an automotive machine shop and did a lot of metal fabrication and custom engine building, and I kept my personal hand tools when I sold the shop).

Of course, I can always find something that I "need" in the Snap-on catalog...

Hi Mike - nah, my machinist chest is a cheap knockoff from overseas... One of those cases where I cared more about the quality of the tools inside than the box...

One day I'd love to have an original, old authentic machinist chest though. What kind of goodies do you have in yours?

Little bit of bad news for your budget. Now you have to fill all those drawers. couple planers, couple rasps and files, screwdrivers, wrenches, etc..... Enjoy your new storage toy.
